Wael Altayyari is a seasoned finance, compliance, and operations professional with more than fifteen years of experience supporting donor-funded programmes and international organizations operating in complex environments in Libya. He has worked extensively with USAID-funded programmes, as well as international organizations such as Interpeace and the International Organization for Migration (IOM).
Throughout his career, Wael has been responsible for financial controls, procurement and logistics coordination, asset and inventory management, petty cash administration, and compliance with donor and internal policies. He has supported programme teams by ensuring accurate financial documentation, adherence to operational procedures, and effective coordination with vendors, consultants, and service providers.
Wael holds academic qualifications in Business Management and English Linguistics, in addition to a Mini-Master in Business Management. He is proficient in financial and enterprise systems including SAP, SUN Systems, Oracle Inventory, and QuickBooks, and is fluent in Arabic and English. In his role as Finance and Compliance Manager, he brings a strong commitment to transparency, accountability, and sound financial governance to support effective and compliant programme delivery.
